JACKSON, MI – The Jackson County Animal Shelter, 3770 Spring Arbor Road, has many pets available for adoption.

Here are two.

Honey is a 7 year old black Labrador Retriever mix. Honey knows a few basic commands and is trained at home. She loves car rides and kissing. Honey’s adoption costs were funded.

Frogger is a 5 month old kitten who overcame a difficult start to life. She was hit by a car and sustained very serious injuries. Thanks to the shelter staff and vet, Frogger got a second chance. She can now sit for treats, play fetch with a ball, and is a sock wrestler. She just needs a loving home forever.

A meeting with a dog is compulsory. A tour of the chat room is available to test the reaction. The dog adoption fee is $ 150 for medium and large dogs and $ 250 for puppies and small dogs, which includes vaccinations, microchip, and sterilization.

The cat adoption fee is $ 60 for one cat, $ 80 for two, which includes applicable tests, vaccines, and sterilization.

It’s always best to visit the shelter, but other adoption resources include online apps at https://www.co.jackson.mi.us/2302/Our-Adoptable-Animals, by faxing 517-780-4750 or by emailing [email protected]
