During the month of October, the Subaru Loves Pets initiative will show its commitment to pets by donating $ 100 for each animal adopted during the month to local partner shelters across the country (up to 31 adoptions per shelter).

The Blue Ridge Humane Society has partnered with Hunter Subaru again this year for the program.

Hunter Subaru is also highlighting the animals available for adoption at Blue Ridge Humane through their social media channels to raise awareness among local animals looking for their next home.

Janessa is for adoption at the Blue Ridge Humane Society.

Blue Ridge Humane Society will kick off Subaru Loves Pets Month with Hunter Subaru at the WLOS Pet Project event on Friday, October 1 from noon to 7 p.m. at Hunter Subaru, 220 Hunter Airport Drive in Fletcher, featuring adoptable pets, information on the organization and entertainment.

Subaru is also celebrating National Dog Making Day and urging all dog lovers to do something extra special for their favorite dog on October 22.

Boogie is currently in the process of being adopted from the Blue Ridge Humane Society.

If you can’t adopt, share the posts with your friends or social groups. You can also donate supplies, make enrichment toys, and volunteer.
