San Andreas, CA… Meet Brutus, a Pit Bull mix estimated to be around six years old. Truly a gentle giant, Brutus is extraordinarily affectionate and really wants to please. He walks well on a leash and sits impatiently for treats. He was always a happy boy despite having a serious ear infection when he arrived at the shelter and is now treated. Brutus has also tested well with other dogs, both males and females, although an appointment is required if you have one at home. We also think he is clean because he keeps his kennel clean. Quite simply, Brutus is a fun and friendly dog that will add joy to your life.
As with all dogs available for adoption at the Calaveras Animal Shelter, Brutus is microchipped and up to date with his routine vaccinations. He will need to be sterilized before returning home. Brutus is also eligible for the 55-5-5 program described in the box below.
