COLUMBIANA — Dale N. “Beagle” Williams, II, 66, of Columbiana, died March 18, 2022 at his home with his family by his side.

Dale was born on April 22, 1955 in Salem, Ohio, the son of the late Dale and Dorothy Martin Williams.

He graduated in 1973 from the local Beaver Schools. Dale worked at Tri County Towers in North Jackson for 25 years as a shop foreman, before Tri County he worked as a truck driver. He was a member of East Palestine Moose Lodge #467, New Waterford Eagles Aerie #2415, East Palestine Eagle Aerie #1505, Allen Masonic Lodge of Columbiana, American Legion Social Member post 290 of Columbiana and Life Member of the American Rifle. Assoc.

Her love of the outdoors was instilled in her at an early age by her father. Hunting and fishing were his favorite activities. Whether hunting deer, turkey, bear, or fishing for walleye, Dale was in his happy place. It was “this” uncle to all his nieces and nephews who loved him very much.

Dale is survived by two sisters, Kay L. (Keith) Cope of New Waterford, Gloria J. Golladay of Columbiana; six nieces and nephews, Jefferey D. Cope of New Waterford, Steven A. Cope of Columbiana, Lisa K. (Bill) Davis of Columbiana, Angela L. Crossen of Boardman, Mathew C. (Michelle) Golladay of Poland, and Travis A. (Nicole) Golladay of Columbiana; as well as several great-great-great-nieces and nephews.

His parents predeceased him; a brother-in-law, James R. Golladay; and a great-nephew, Caleb Cope.

The family will receive friends Monday from 4-7 p.m. at the Linsley-Royal Funeral Home in eastern Palestine as well as one hour before the services. The service will be held Tuesday at 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home.

The family would like to thank Hospice of the Valley and his ex-wife, Lisa Williams, for the love, care and assistance over the last few weeks.
