GRANTSVILLE, Md. – Eugene Bradley Miller, 91, of Grantsville, Md., died Friday, April 29, 2022 at the Mountain City Center, Frostburg, Md.
Born January 1, 1931 in Salisbury, Pennsylvania, he was the son of the late Lloyd and Verda Miller Miller.
He was also predeceased by his son-in-law, James Bosley, and his half-sister, Freda Orner.
Mr. Miller was an auto worker for General Motors in Lordstown and was a US Army veteran of the Korean War. He was a member of Mount Zion United Methodist Church; Grantsville Post 214, American Legion; Earl H. Opel Post 459, American Legion in Salisbury; and the American Kennel Club. He loved his beagles, which he bred over the years, and loved pétanque.
He is survived by his wife, Jean I. Wilhelm Miller; two daughters, Diane Sue Bosley of Frostburg, Md., and Cindy Lou Stennett and her partner, Matt Bennett of Mahaffey, Pennsylvania; a half-sister, Barbara Miller of Salisbury; one granddaughter, Ashley (Matt) Wasco of Irwin, Pennsylvania; and two great-grandchildren, Gaige and John.
The family would like to thank the staff at Mountain City Center for the wonderful care provided to Eugene.
Friends will be received at Mount Zion United Methodist Church, 4-7 p.m. Sunday, May 1, 2022. Funeral services will be held at the church at 11 a.m. Monday, May 2, 2022, with Reverend Dan Agnew officiating. Burial will be in Blocher Cemetery.
Military rites of burial will be granted by Grantsville Post 214, American Legion.
