Houston Humane Society volunteers say 5-year-old Ariel, not to be confused with the Disney Princess, is SUMMERTIME FINE!

With a 10 out of 10 smile, Ariel is sure to be ready to win the hearts of her new family. Volunteers say it is best suited to an empty-nested family or those with older children.

Some of the things Ariel enjoys doing are relaxing on someone’s lap, running around the yard, and of course, squeaky toys! If Ariel was a human, she would be a bodybuilder based on her muscular figure!

Meet Ariel at the Houston Humane Society, located at 14700 Almeda Rd. in southwest Houston, open 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Friday and 11 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Saturday and Sunday. If you would like to welcome Ariel into your home, you can start the adoption process by completing this form.

A few months ago, we met Sherbet, the famous ambassador for sheltering pets all over the country.

Her fame finally brought her to a new home! The shelter shares that her family is so excited to have a famous friend! According to her adopters, she has become amazing for her two children, who are still deciding on a new name for Sherbet at this time.

The shelter also shares that Sherbet will be the only pup in the house, and the two kids will make sure she gets LOTS of playtime!
