Nina, 2 years old, only knows life behind the walls of a shelter. Now she is ready to leave them in hopes that a forever family will take her in.
Nina is currently on one of the longest stays at the Houston Humane Society. She came to the New Orleans shelter after her old shelter was destroyed by Hurricane Ida in 2021.
Bigger herself, Nina LOVES to get several tennis balls at the same time. She also likes to rub her belly and be completely silly.
Meet Randy at the Houston Humane Society, located at 14700 Almeda Rd. in southwest Houston, open 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Friday and 11 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Saturday and Sunday. If you would like to welcome Randy into your home, you can start the adoption process by completing this form.

Monitoring of the KPRC 2 Pet project: Flora
Last December, we met Flora. She was a festive pup hoping to bring joy to her family forever.
A hurricane survivor herself, she was transported to a rescue group up north, called “My Chi and Me”, where Flora was adopted by a loving family there! She now enjoys her days at the pool or drives around her family’s property in a golf cart. Flora is definitely living the sweet life.
