/// Omega Mart, a permanent visitor attraction and art installation built by Meow Wolf, is slated to open in Las Vegas, US this month.

The attraction, dubbed “America’s Most Outstanding Supermarket,” is located at Area15 – a 200,000 square foot experiential commerce and entertainment hub – and will feature more than 250 art projects created by 325 artists.

In total, Omega Mart is home to over 60 unique environments that include halls filled with facilities, terrains and “portals to other worlds”.

According to Meow Wolf – an art and entertainment company renowned for creating immersive large-scale art installations – the attraction “will turn family vacations into mind-blowing adventures.”

“Omega Mart is not a show, arcade or museum – and yet, all of this and more,” said Meow Wolf.

“It’s family-friendly, open to humans of all ages – and that includes inner children.

“You might find yourself in a warehouse-sized playground, with slides bigger than your house. Or walk through a real mirror, in a whole other world.

“Think of the biggest amusement park you’ve ever visited, with a touch of Vegas style. If the thought of it dazzles you, imagine what it would do for a real kid.”

At the heart of Omega Mart will be the focus on art.

“We spent three years figuring out how to turn an otherwise boring art world into something exhilarating and unparalleled beauty,” said Meow Wolf.

“Most of the artwork is shown only for long gazes and contemplation, but we’re more interested in paintings that you can step into and explore.

“How about a sculpture garden that will make you feel like you’ve stumbled across the ruins of an alien planet?” Now you can run freely with your imagination. “

The launch marketing activity includes a series of Wieden + Kennedy videos, including one directed by Andreas Nilsson with a deepfake Willie Nelson.
