Watercolourist Meghana Mitregotri is due to demonstrate at the February 3 meeting of the Milpitas Golden Hills Art Association.
A resident of Livermore and originally from Kalpakkam, a town in southern India, Mitregotri is inspired by countryside landscapes, flowers and birds. His style is often realistic and sometimes impressionistic, reflecting the versatility of his favorite medium. She likes to use a mix of bright and subtle colors in her paintings, all of which should include a shade of green.
Mitregotri is a member of the Livermore Art Association, the Dublin Arts Collective and the California Watercolor Association and President of the Pleasanton Art League, and her work is exhibited in local galleries and businesses.
The arts association meeting begins at 7 p.m. in the Milpitas Police Department Community Hall, 1275 N. Milpitas Blvd.
