Mr. Ed and his four siblings came to see us in April when the police seized them from a residence. He is 10 years old and in dire need of a dentist. He had only skin on his bones and his coat was in terrible condition. We put him on antibiotics and he and his other siblings were scheduled for dental treatment. He recovers and gains weight.

He loves his canned food and people. He likes to be held and purrs contentedly all the time. His coat is so soft now, but he sheds as much as a dog. 🙂

He has no teeth and will therefore need a diet of soft foods for the remaining years. Some kittens may revert to hard food after a dental, but they tend to swallow it whole and then vomit. So we kept him on a soft food diet.

He would love for you to drop by and visit him and all of his friends in Kitty City! And maybe he can convince you to bring him home to love for the rest of his years.

Paws for life Animal League in the Riverton Lobby is now open and the schedule is Tuesday through Friday 12pm to 5pm, Saturday 10am to 1pm and closed Sunday and Monday.

Stop by if you want to meet Mr. Ed or one of our other adoptable pets, or call 857-6002 to make an appointment Tuesday through Saturday. You can also send them a message Facebook page to set an appointment for a meeting.
