Raising: Domestic Shorthair
Color: brown tabby
Meet Kit Kat! This handsome senior is as sweet as his name. Kit Kat adores affection so much that he drools over pets like treats. He’s very easy-going, loves cuddles and relaxing, and just needs to find the perfect home to give him a break. Kit Kat has been diagnosed with diabetes and requires insulin injections twice a day. Her insulin costs about $50 a month, and KHS will provide a full year’s supply of insulin and syringes upon adoption to help her adopters get started. He does not follow a prescription diet and his diabetes is effectively managed with a diet of Friskies pate wet food, an affordable product that can be found at any pet store. Because Kit Kat can be a little sassy some days, he would prefer everyone in his family to be over the age of 6. Kit Kat will also thrive in a home where all other animals have a calmer temperament, to ensure that his space will be respected when he needs it. Want to take Kit Kat home, but not sure about her medical needs? Give it a try through our Foster to Adopt program. Take the time to just get to know Kit Kat in your own home, then see if you want him to stay. If you’re curious about getting to know this little darling, come to the shelter and bring him home today. You can meet Kit Kat and our other adoptable animals at the Kitsap Humane Society, open for walk-in appointments on a first-come, first-served basis. To learn more, visit www.kitsap-humane.org.
