Norfolk, Virginia. – Twenty years ago, the Mobile Clinics division of PETA was born – and it celebrates the sterilization of 194,000 animals and counts with “Pints for Paws”, an event for dogs Exaltation brewery Saturday. The party will feature delicious vegan fare from Elation Brewing’s own kitchen, the Bakery in Chelsea, and Senses vegan comfort food. With every sale of the bar’s Larchmont Lager, $ 1 will go towards keeping PETA’s low-cost sterilization / sterilization clinics helping in Hampton Roads and beyond.
When: Saturday October 2 5:30 p.m.
Or: Elation Brewery, 5104 Colley Ave., Norfolk
“Because our Mobile Clinics division has ‘cut’ so many animals, hundreds of thousands of cats and dogs have been not born into our community, which is already overwhelmed with homeless animals, ”said Daphna Nachminovich, senior vice president of PETA. “PETA invites everyone to come have a drink and help us continue to fight the homeless animal overpopulation crisis. “
PETA – whose motto reads, in part, that “animals are not ours to eat” – opposes speciesism, a human supremacist worldview.
