JACKSON, MI — The Jackson County Animal Shelter, 3770 Spring Arbor Road, has many pets available for adoption.
Here are two.
Annie is a 2 year old American Staffordshire mix that is smaller in size. It is solid black with white markings. Annie arrived as a wandering girl, but she is a happy girl. She really enjoys being with her human and has a lot of enthusiasm. He is a dog full of energy who would love to accompany you on walks.
Cinder is a short-haired gray cat with white markings. She is declawed on her front paws. Cinder came as a stray cat and would do better in a house as the only cat because she is afraid of other cats. Once she’s your buddy, Cinder will park on your lap or your bed.
An encounter with a dog is mandatory. A guided chat room tour is available to test the reaction. The dog adoption fee is $150 for medium and large dogs and $250 for puppies and small dogs, which includes vaccinations, microchipping and neutering.
Cat adoption fees are $60 for one cat, $80 for two, which includes applicable tests, vaccines, and neutering.
