JACKSON, MI – The Jackson County Animal Shelter, 3770 Spring Arbor Road, has many pets available for adoption.

Here are two.

Rusty is a 7 year old German Shepard mix who arrived wandering. He’s a nice guy who likes to go out for a walk. Rusty is educated and seems to get along with his canine neighbors. He has a gentle look in his eyes and longs for a home where he will be well cared for and loved.

Smokey is a cool cat who is solid gray with golden eyes. He surrendered when his owner died and you can tell he was very good friends with his human. Smokey loves attention and exploration. He’s 12 but you’d never know. Smokey has a lot of cum.

A meeting with a dog is compulsory. A tour of the chat room is available to test the reaction. The dog adoption fee is $ 150 for medium and large dogs and $ 250 for puppies and small dogs, which includes vaccinations, microchip, and sterilization.

The cat adoption fee is $ 60 for one cat, $ 80 for two, which includes applicable tests, vaccines, and sterilization.

It’s always best to visit the shelter, but other adoption resources include online apps at https://www.co.jackson.mi.us/2302/Our-Adoptable-Animals, by faxing 517-780-4750 or by emailing [email protected]
