JACKSON, MI – The Jackson County Animal Shelter, 3770 Spring Arbor Road, has many pets available for adoption.

Here are three.

Snow White doesn’t have seven dwarfs, but she did have seven kittens. They were adopted but mom is still looking for her at home forever. Snow White is a watered down 2 year old calico who came wandering. She is a lover who will win your heart.

Jacc and Slipper are best friend kittens the shelter would love to see adopted together. Jacc is solid black with white paws, while Slipper is a brown tiger with green eyes. They are both males and are around 8 weeks old. Jacc and Slipper have arrived stray and hopefully can be adopted together as brothers for life.

A meeting with a dog is compulsory. A visit to the cat room is available to test the reaction. The dog adoption fee is $ 150 for medium and large dogs and $ 250 for puppies and small dogs, which includes vaccinations, microchip, and sterilization.

The cat adoption fee is $ 60 for one cat, $ 80 for two, which includes applicable tests, vaccines, and sterilization.

It’s always best to visit the shelter, but other adoption resources include online apps at https://www.co.jackson.mi.us/2302/Our-Adoptable-Animals, by faxing 517-780-4750 or by emailing [email protected]
