What’s better than playing golf instead of working on a Friday? See furry friends, win prizes and raise money for a fantastic cause!

The Mid-West Family Rounds For Rescues Golf Tournament returns to Fox Hollow Golf Course on September 16 to raise funds for the Coulee Region Humane Society (CRHS).

The Registration of $280 for a team of 4 people includes 18 holes, carts, lunch and the chance to win great prizes and raffles.

Coulee area general manager Heather Drievold said her staff were delighted with a fun day on the course. And, yes, their pet therapy teams will be there.

“They’re going to socialize with the golfers, and I think they’re going to spend a few games to lure those golfers in for some of those cool shots, for a chance to win prizes,” Drievold told Z93.

There are still a few slots left for teams to join in the furry fun, sign up HERE.

CRHS is also in the midst of its 18th annual adoption marathon, this year titled Furassic Park.

The event offers “name yourself adoption fees” for cats, kittens and some dogs.

“We have a number of wonderful animals that have been with us for a while and are really looking for their forever home,” Drievold said.

They have such a large volume of adoptable animals, which extends into Sunday. Learn more about adoption HERE or support by ordering a great “Furrassic Park” shirt HERE.
