With the Bengals set to play in the Super Bowl for the first time since 1989, they gained a whole new fan base.

Looking for a literal “tail” door this weekend?

The OTR Kennel Club is hosting a Cincinnati Bengaldogs Parade on February 12 in Washington Park and in the streets of Over-the-Rhine.

This event offers furry friends and their owners the chance to wear their best Bengals spirited gear and display their stuff. Get out all the fun jerseys, hats or helmets, dog booties and costumes – Bengaldogs are encouraged to let their Who Dey flag fly.

Following a similar format to the OTR Rail Dog Parade (which the Kennel Club hosts each holiday season), there will be a pre-pup tailgate at Queen City Radio to begin cheering before the parade starts at 4 p.m. h.

Once the participants have warmed up, the procession of orange and black puppies – described as “a lively, loosely organized ride and Bengals cheer through Washington Park and the streets of OTR” – begins.

Join a post-parade hangout with pretzels, beer, and food available for purchase from Queen City Radio’s on-site vendor, Lübecker. Dog treats will be available free of charge.

Queen City Radio is located at 222 W. 12th St, Over-the-Rhine. Find more information on facebook.com.
