Many of us made the decision to welcome cute new dogs into our homes last year – Kennel Club figures show the number of dog owners has soared by almost 8% – and demand for four-legged friends after the lock remains high.
There is a huge selection of 221 different purebred dog breeds to choose from, as well as plenty of crossbreeds, so there is a lot of thought to be done before selecting the latest addition to your family.
One thing to consider is whether a barking or howling dog could lead to complaints from neighbors, especially if you live in an apartment or apartment.
