WILDOMAR, CA – Animal Friends of the Valleys in Wildomar is hosting a “Clear the Shelters” adoption event on Saturday in an effort to find homes for animals in need.

The event, organized in partnership with NBC4 and Telemundo 52, will run from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on September 18. The refuge is located at 33751 Mission Trail.

Adoptable animals will be available to meet and greet, along with vendors, raffles, giveaways and more.

The shelter will also offer special adoption offers for approved applications.

Clear the Shelters was created seven years ago by stations owned by NBCUniversal and NBC4 and Telemundo 52 locally to help raise awareness of the importance of pet adoptions.

Animals Friends of the Valleys offers pets for adoption and provides animal services to the towns of Lake Elsinore, Canyon Lake, Wildomar, Menifee, Murrieta and Temecula. The shelter is a 501 (c) (3) non-profit organization.
