We have teamed up with KC Pet Project to host a weekly âcreature articleâ on the adorable and adoptable animals here in the KC subway. This week, KCPP would like to introduce you to Willow, a one-year-old medium-haired domestic, and Mia, a 10-year-old pit bull. The two furry friends currently reside at the Kansas City Campus for Animal Care at 7077 Elmwood Avenue where you can adopt them.
Willow has been with KCPP since September 13. If you are looking to add more cuddling time to your life, Willow will be the perfect companion. He currently lives in one of our natural light cat condo rooms and loves to look out the window and bathe in the afternoon sun.
Mia loves treats and is happy to show you how smart she is. She is happier going out with her people or taking a nap on her comfortable bed. Mia needs to be in a house where she is the only dog. And for that, Mia will reward you with all the tail wagging and kissing you can endure! She has been with the KC Pet Project since May 27.
Willow and Mia are just a few of the many pets to adopt from the KC Pet Project. There are still other featured creatures yet to be adopted. Tigeress is the perfect pet for cat lovers and nap connoisseurs. Basil is a cheerful dog who loves to walk around and Leyla is a calm and gentle soul who warms up quickly with the friends she meets. If you are looking for a curious cat with mesmerizing eyes, Baby Shark is the pet for you. Michelle Mylett is a lounging cat, while Wilson is a dog who could play fetch all day long.
The shelter is currently at full capacity and is in need of adopters and foster parents. If these aren’t pets for you, check out KCPP’s Current Adoptable Pets.
