FROM Boxers to Beagles, Greyhounds to Golden Retrievers, all puppies are welcome at St Clare Hospice’s 16th Annual Charity Walk, which takes place on Sunday February 27th.
Dozens of dogs of all shapes and sizes will take part in the Hospice-sponsored 5km country walk, which raises over £ 5,000 for the charity each year.
There will be fun and games for the whole family at the event, before the doggie parade leaves at 11:00 am.
The Winter Walkies route begins at the Hospice, winds through the Essex countryside before returning. Back at the Hospice, you can enjoy a cup of hot soup and a bun. What about the doggies? Rosettes and dog treats! Other refreshments will also be on sale.
Admission to the Winter Walkies is £ 10 for adults and £ 5 for children. Or, £ 27.50 for a family of four. Every penny goes towards our vital palliative care and bereavement services for the local population.
And don’t forget to enter St Clare Hospice’s cutest Dog contest on Facebook and Instagram. The competition is open to all doggies participating in the Hospice Winter Walkies.
